The Accelerated Reader Program (AR) is a computerized reading comprehension program that combines technology and research to motivate and increase independent reading. AR is an optional enrichment program, but all students are encouraged to participate in order to build reading and comprehension skills. To make the program more fun and engaging for the students, we use a racing theme to track progress.
