Young Authors
Young Authors is a program that promotes creative writing and provides a cherished memento of our children’s elementary school years. 

At the start of the program the children are given subjects to write about, depending on their grade level.  When the writing is complete, parent volunteers type the final copies and paste them into hardbound books.  The children then illustrate the books. 

Parent Class Coordinator Guides will be distributed to the Class Coordinators.

The third, fourth and fifth grade will be handwriting their Young Authors book. The parent involvement at these grade levels will be less than other grade levels since minimal typing is required.
