The Ocee Elementary PTA Reflections Program is part of a national arts recognition and achievement program open to students at Ocee Elementary from Pre-K through 5th grade. The program offers students the opportunity to create works of art for fun and recognition. Students are encouraged to create and submit works of art in the following areas: literature, musical composition, photography, visual arts (which includes art forms such as drawing, painting, print making, and collage), dance choreography and film/video production
The works of art will be judged by professionals in the respective arts areas, and selected works will be advanced to the county, state or national levels for judging.
This year's theme was..."Beauty is..."
Congratulations to all 2009-10 Reflections entrants! The judges were very impressed with the quality of art produced by the students of Ocee Elementary. Way to go!
A special thank you to our panel of impartial judges: Photography judge, Terri Dinardo of Terri Dinardo Photography, Visual Arts judge, Debbie Murphy, Taylor Road Middle School Art Director, and Literature judge, Laura Smith, writer, editor and former speechwriter for the president of Georgia Tech.
